Welcome to Mieland. These are the rules that govern your use of our website and your purchases from our online store. By browsing our site or placing an order, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use our site or place an order.

1. Who Can Use This Site

You must be at least 18 years old to purchase from us. If you create an account, you're responsible for keeping your login details safe and for everything that happens under your account. Please provide accurate information when registering and checking out.

2. Placing Orders

When you place an order, it's an offer to buy — not a completed sale. We accept your order when we send you a confirmation email or when your product ships, whichever happens first. Until then, we can decline an order for any reason (stock issues, pricing errors, etc.). If we can't fulfill your order, we'll let you know and refund any payment you've already made.

3. Pricing & Payment

All prices on our website are in US Dollars and are exclusive of sales tax. Sales tax is calculated at checkout based on your delivery address and may vary by state and locality. Once we confirm your order, the total price (including any applicable taxes) is locked in. We accept major credit cards and other payment methods shown at checkout. Payments are processed securely — we never store your full credit card details.

4. Shipping & Delivery

Free shipping applies to US orders over $60. Delivery times shown at checkout are estimates, not guarantees. Once we hand your package to the delivery carrier, responsibility for it transfers to you. 5. Returns & Refunds

Because our honey is a food product, we can't accept returns. If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us within 14 days with a photo and we'll sort it out with a replacement or refund. Full details are in our Returns & Refunds Policy.

6. Our Products & FDA Disclaimer

We sell Manuka honey, dietary supplements (gummies, lozenges), and related wellness products. Our MGO ratings and nutritional information are based on independent lab testing in New Zealand. Because our honey is 100% raw and unpasteurized, natural variation in taste, color, and consistency can occur — this is normal and doesn't affect quality. These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Our supplements are not a replacement for professional medical advice. Talk to your healthcare provider before using any supplement — especially if you're pregnant, nursing, taking medication, or have a medical condition. Keep supplements out of reach of children.

7. Health Claims & Advertising

Any health-related information on our site is based on publicly available scientific research and our own independent lab testing. We don't claim our products cure, treat, or prevent any disease. References to studies or research are for education only — they're not medical advice.

8. Subscriptions

If you sign up for a recurring subscription, you authorize us to charge your payment method at the frequency you selected until you cancel. You can modify, pause, skip, or cancel anytime through your account or by contacting us. We'll tell you about any price changes before they happen.

9. Our Content

Everything on this site — text, images, logos, graphics — belongs to Mieland or our licensors. You can't copy, reproduce, or use our content without our written permission.

10. Your Conduct

When using our site, please don't: use it for anything illegal; try to hack or gain unauthorized access; interfere with how the site works; scrape or extract our data for commercial use; submit false or misleading information; use bots or automated tools without our permission.

11. Third-Party Links

12. Reviews & User Content

We're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our site or products. If something goes wrong, our maximum liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the product(s) in question.

If your actions (breaching these terms, misusing the site, violating laws or third-party rights) cause us trouble — including legal costs — you agree to cover our costs and protect us from claims.

We're not responsible for delays or failures caused by things outside our control — natural disasters, pandemics, wars, government actions, labor disputes, supply chain disruptions, or transportation failures.

17. Governing Law & Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. The UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods doesn't apply. If a dispute arises, we'll first try to resolve it through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved after 30 days, we'll attempt mediation. If that fails, the dispute goes to binding arbitration in New Zealand. However, we can seek court injunctions to protect our intellectual property or stop breaches of these terms.

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date. If you keep using the site after we make changes, that means you accept the updated terms.

19. Severability

If any part of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the rest of the terms remain in effect.
